Do you also have beautiful gardening accessories or other items that can no longer be used for their original function? Maybe they are suitable for upcycling! We have given our old, trusty watering can a second life. And since this old lady has always had a special fondness for flowers, we didn’t want to tear her away from her beloved environment.

The rusty bottom. Unfortunately not watertight.

The bottom of our little watering can was unfortunately no longer completely watertight. Rust has gnawed at it over time.

So we took this lovely piece, poured a small layer of gravel on the bottom, and then filled the can with soil. By the way, the Leberbalsam we planted in our new balcony beauty comes exceptionally from the garden center and not from our own cultivation. Unlike the other plants you can partially see in the picture above, as we grew the litchi tomato, chives, wild tomato, parsley, mountain mint, and bush beans ourselves. What else is blooming and growing on our balcony? We will present that in the coming days.

I hope we could inspire you a little bit, and we would be happy if you also had one or two nice upcycling projects for urban gardening.
